Prior to self-directing support through Your Life Your Choice, my daughter was limited in the choice of activities her service provider could offer. We chose Me Time to be our host provider, and, with the guidance and support of their Plan Manger, my daughter now attends programs of her choice, going to two different service providers and spending one day a week with an independent support worker. Our Plan Manager is always available to answer any questions I may have and is happy to modify my daughter’s plan at any time.

My eldest child has a disability, which significantly affects our daily life as a family. It was these daily struggles that led us to look for other services that might be available, as, in the past, our funding options were restrictive and rigid. Having access to self-directed funding through Me Time has really allowed us to optimise our child’s care and therapies to levels we’d previously been unable to achieve. Ultimately, this has resulted in a better quality of life for our entire family. Me Time have given us easy to manage accounting tools, and are always available for any questions – no matter how trivial. We now have that choice and flexibility of managing our own supports and services, with the backup that Me Time gives us. We really feel like we have the best of both worlds
